Ford House

The Edsel and Eleanor Ford House is a mansion located in Grosse Pointe Shores, northeast of Detroit.  The property underwent its first major expansion in over 90 years adding a newt Visitor Center and Administration Building, which opened in May 2021.

GANAS was tasked with providing all of the millwork, fixtures and display cases for the expanded retail space with merchandise reflecting the art, architecture, and landscape of the estate, as well as the special rotating exhibits.

The focal point of the space is the large sales counter made from an elm tree that came from the property. The elm was also used on fixtures throughout the space complementing the metal, glass and laminate.
